Yes — absolutely! As long as your current staff meet the NDIS Code of Conduct and NDIS Practice Standards, we can work with you to create a plan that allows them to continue supporting you under the CWSS registration.
We’ll handle the compliance, onboarding, and documentation requirements while ensuring your existing team can keep providing the supports you trust.

 

Yes, CWSS is a fully registered NDIS provider, meeting all requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework. This means our services meet strict safety, quality, and professional standards giving you peace of mind that your supports are delivered with care and accountability. CWSS proudly supports participants across Victoria, with new service areas continuing to expand. We offer both in-person and community-based supports, depending on your location and individual needs.

Yes, you can. The NDIS is built on choice and control, which means you can receive some supports from CWSS while also engaging other providers. We’ll happily collaborate with them to ensure your services are well-coordinated and focused on your goals.

Camp frequently asked questions

Yes, All food is included and we can cater to specific dietary requirements (provided that sufficient notice has been given).

Yes, this is an all-inclusive camp with all fees included in the camp fee. 

Once you’ve made your selection, you can access support for various job-seeking activities, including:

  • Engaging in vocational activities
  • Securing work experience opportunities
  • Receiving on-the-job training and support

Additionally, you can work on key skills development, which may encompass:

  • Time management

  • Travel skills

  • Money management

  • Assistance in obtaining industry-specific qualifications, such as:

    • White Card
    • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
    • Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG)

Depending on your funding level and employment objectives, our support staff are available to work with you on-site to ensure you feel comfortable and well-supported while at work.

Yes.

CWSS Camps complies with the Victorian Child Safety Standards.

All camps are at fully accredited camp sites.

Thorough checks are completed prior to staff and volunteers beginning their employment. All are required to have a current Working With Children Check and a NDIS Safety Screening Check (which includes a Police Check and Disability Support Worker Exclusion Scheme Check) which is updated every 5 years.

To participate in CWSS Camps programs, you must have a current NDIS Plan OR you will be required to pay the full fee for service.

Within your Plan you will need to ensure you or your NDIS Planner includes the following in your Plan:

  • camps or
  • community and social participation or
  • group based community, social recreational activities

You will need to ensure that your Plan has enough funds allocated to cover the costs of your participation on our programs.

Please be advised that the cost will change depending on the level of support the participant requires. 

To get ready for the NDIS and your first Plan, start thinking about your immediate support needs and what your current and future goals might be.

Community and social participation or group based community, social recreational activities need to be included into your Plan to participate on CWSS Programs.

Yes, if enough money is allocated in the core support categories of your NDIS Plan, that would cover the cost of participation in the CWSS program.

If you can afford the entire cost of attending camp you can also pay the full fee for service (conditions apply).

Currently, we offer the following support ratios:

  • 2:1
  • 1:1
  • 1:2 (staff: participant)

Disability Support Workers

Our programs are run by an amazing group of Disability Support Workers.

All Disability Support Workers have various qualifications but must hold a minimum Certificate III in Disability or an equivalent qualification.

All Disability Support Workers have a current Level 2 in First Aid and CPR and a minimum of 6 months experience (paid employment) working with people living with disability.

NDIS Programs are predominantly staffed by Disability Support Workers with support of Volunteers.

Volunteers

Our programs are supported by a wonderful group of Volunteers.

Our Volunteers come from all different walks of life – students, full time employees, retirees, you name it!

They are people who love to have fun, have a sense of adventure and want to give back to the community.

Our Volunteers do not need any formal qualifications as they are on-site to provide general support to the program. Volunteers still undergo thorough checks before starting their time with CWSS Camps.

All Volunteers have current NDIS Safety Check and Working with Children Checks.

Yes, you can attend the camp, but you will need to pay the full fee privately.

Yes, others can participate in the camp. If they aren’t NDIS funded then they will need to pay the full fee privately.

Parents and carer(s) should look at the volunteer facilities from CWSS  if they wish to assist.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is the new way of providing support for eligible people with permanent and significant disability, their families and their carers.

  • Yes. One of the goals of the NDIS is to enable choice and control for people with a disability.

    Under NDIS we offer:

    • Assistance preparing you for your yearly NDIS planning meeting
    • Behaviour support
    • CP Check-UPTM
    • Early Childhood Intervention
    • Exercise and wellbeing services
    • Lifestyle supports

Activity frequently asked questions

We want to create a supportive space where every child can learn and flourish. If a child is uncomfortable with any activity, they can opt out and stay with one of our carers. They can also choose a different activity that suits them better (as long as it is reasonable).

Sorry, all of our activities are designed for our happy child campers only.

Yes, there is. On each camp page there is a list of activities available for the campers for that camp.

Cancellation and refunds frequently asked questions

Where you have given less than seven (7) clear days’ notice of cancellation, we may charge up to 100% of the agreed price for your camp.
